I have a two year old tiger fern. I am a little surprised that she is triving; lots of new growth. I have a silver band prayer plant that is also growing like a weed and is blooming. I just got a varigated maranta two weeks ago and it is doing very well. My little Thai Constellation is unfurling its first fenestrated leaf! I also use diluted rubbing alcohol for mealies. Personally, I see nothing wrong with bining cuttings that you choose not to propagate. Loved your video.

I worry about pests at Lowes and Home Depot. I have purchased from them before, but after seeing thrips on one of the Lowe's plants, I probably won't buy from them again. Unless it was a wishlist plant and not expensive. But I would treat that plant as if it did have thrips, and quarantine it.

I would put a beautiful, bushy pothos inside that farm planter. It would look lovely! ❤

I have two Brazils like the one you're showing.

I bought a pretty green variegated lipstick plant. I put it under a grow light and the variegation was outstanding. If you get a really variegated one and don’t give it a lot of light you will lose the variegation and new growth will come in green.

I live near Barcelona and I often find cuttings of plants on the ground after people are pruning. I just recently got a big chunk of ficus elástica, also branches of jade that end up breaking off, a length of syngonium vine from our local cafe during winter- and last summer I got a huge Boston fern that was just sitting next to the garbage. I cut off all the dead stuff and put it on my shady patio- it’s so happy now! Found plants are the best.

With the amarillis plant if it has wax on it they usually don’t rebloom. Also the flower stalk comes out before the leaves. If you want it to bloom, stop watering it and put it in the dark in a cool location and start rewatering it at the end of September or middle of October
